HOWDY!!! My name is Elsie Yvonne Ponce; born and raised in Houston, TX. I am a Junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering. My main goal is to increase involvement with the community thus enhancing opportunities for the youth academically and socially. I believe community service is important for character building. I plan to raise interest in math and science by participating SHPE members in academic outreach services within local schools. Howdy, I am currently a senior pursing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, but most importantly I am the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2008. Whoop!
